Reseña
La investigación, en sentido estrictamente empírico,
aborda las producciones de Tesis de Grado (Licenciatura)
de la Carrera de Sociología de la Universidad Nacional de
San Juan, desde sus inicios en el año 1965, hasta la san-
ción de los nuevos Planes de Estudios en el año 2018. Esto
representa abarcar casi cinco décadas y misma cantidad
de planes de estudios, un escenario que, en principio
irrumpe como ininteligible.
En este periodo el trabajo desarrolla, a través de un mi-
nucioso y exhaustivo proceso de análisis documental y
entrevistas en profundidad, un cuerpo analítico que se
destaca por su rigurosidad empírica, metodológica y teó-
rica.
Podríamos preguntarnos ¿qué sentido epistémico con-
lleva analizar las producciones de estudiantes que em-
prenden una Tesis de Grado en una Carrera de Sociolo-
gía del “interior” del país? Y la respuesta es bastante más
compleja, al límite de encontrarnos ante la necesidad de
desplegar algunas de las variables con las que Ardenillo
abordó el revelador objeto de estudio.
La investigación se estructura en diez capítulos y dos
secciones de anexos de datos, en ella se despliega una
compleja y coherente estrategia analítica basada en una
reconstrucción socio-histórica que no margina la mirada
sociológica, al contrario, la reposiciona como instancia
central de interpretación empírica.
Este aspecto, lo empírico, podría condensar un apartado
especial que no ingresaría en esta reseña por limitacio-
nes editoriales. Sin embargo, resulta necesario destacar el
preciso y riguroso tratamiento de los datos, tanto los pri-
marios (entrevistas) como secundarios (documentales), lo
que facilitó la construcción de sólidas bases de datos.
Analizar desde una investigación que conlleva la propia
lógica del objeto de estudio, es decir, un trabajo de tesis
en sociología que se propone investigar las tesis de so-
ciología de su propia unidad académica, puede llegar a
resultar una trampa epistémica en caso de no desplegar
estrategias de distanciamiento con el objeto. Lo resalta-
do es resuelto mediante una oportuna interpretación de
etapas sociológicas, lo que permitió posicionar temporal,
teórica y metodológicamente las producciones de casi
cinco décadas con destacada lucidez teórica.
Siguiendo la perspectiva anterior, podemos pensar que
los aportes de esquemas analíticos de Pierre Bourdieu,
Norbert Elias, Fernand Braudel y María Goldberg, entre
los principales, resultó una atinada decisión que conver-
gió en la construcción de un consistente esquema analí-
tico, ordenando, clasificando y permitiendo interpretar
un proceso particular como el de San Juan.
Resulta legítimo ubicar la investigación como una mira-
da de la sociología de la sociología, carácter que conduce
de manera directa, al ejercicio de las variables básicas,
aunque no simples, de la teoría y epistemología pura-
mente sociológicas.
Como señalamos en párrafos anteriores, lo que en prin-
cipio emerge como el problema y desafío de la mediana
y larga duración, es resuelto por el trabajo mediante el
diseño de una línea temporal que exigió una reconstruc-
ción de variables de espinoso acceso. Temáticas, estrate-
gias metodológicas, esquemas teóricos, sub-disciplinas
que las clasifican u ordenan, resultaron un principio rec-
tor ante la diversidad y heterogeneidad de una dinámica
de medio siglo de una ciencia que se fue reconfigurando
de manera constante.
En este sentido, la investigación resulta un consistente
caso de aplicación de una mirada diacrónica a un objeto
de estudio que finaliza en categorías que ordenan, y ter-
minan simplificando, la comprensión de lo que en prin-
cipio emergía como inabordable.
Lo relatado permite suponer que el caso analizado con-
tenga un particular potencial, esto no va en detrimento
de la estrategia utilizada para interpretar una temática
compleja, como es inferir y articular la construcción de
múltiples objetos de investigación con abordajes teóricos
y metodológicos que se alteraron drásticamente según
los periodos.
Desde esta perspectiva, el objeto de estudio emerge
como parte de realizaciones y estados de sociológicos
en diferentes momentos temporales, sociales, políticos y
culturales de nuestra provincia y, sin temor a incurrir en
falacias de nivel, del país.
