cual convierte este trabajo en una apuesta novedosa y fundamental para re-conocer y reponer el derrotero de situaciones
que las mujeres atravesaron y siguen atravesando en la conquista de sus derechos. En este sentido, la obra ofrece sólidas
herramientas para el abordaje de la construcción de ciudadanía de las mujeres y disidencias, partiendo de la necesidad de
complejizar el concepto. Desde los diferentes aportes de las teorías feministas, las contribuciones decoloniales e incorporando
la interseccionalidad étnica y de clase que las constituyen, el trabajo procura reestablecer la organización de las mujeres y
una mirada con perspectiva de género.
El libro narra, en clave política, la consolidación de los movimientos feministas, sus resistencias, las luchas que se visibilizan
con mayor ímpetu con el regreso de la democracia, también destaca las repercusiones sociales que tuvo la realización del
evidencian los movimientos feministas en Argentina y particularmente en la provincia de San Juan.

El libro comienza con el capítulo titulado “Género y ciudadanía en el marco de los pactos sexuales” donde se desarrolla un
debate interesante y actualizado sobre la dimensión de ciudadanía liberal. La autora narra críticamente y desde teorías
feministas las diferentes maneras de operar que tiene el poder patriarcal. En este sentido, la categoría de ciudadanía acuñada
desde la teoría política liberal produce roles que jerarquizan las prácticas masculinas, generando un orden que separa lo
adquiere características invisibilizadoras de aquellos sujetos considerados inferiores. Esto funciona como un pacto masculino

El segundo capítulo, titulado “Género/s y ciudadanía sanjuanina”, describe los relatos de las protagonistas que participan
en diversas organizaciones sociales que luchan por ampliar derechos de mujeres, lesbianas, gays, trans, etc., en la provincia
de San Juan. Durante el desarrollo del escrito se destaca la particular forma de involucramiento, participación y estrategias
que desde estas grupalidades generan para sí, dando cuenta de las características propias que adquieren estos movimientos
en sus acciones colectivas. La autora presenta una noción de ciudadanía en términos sociales y activos despojándose de la
idea de universalidad. De esta manera, la categoría analítica tiene mayor capacidad potenciadora señalando que, en tanto
años 80 los feminismos y movimientos LGBTYQ+ plasmaron críticas a la “ciudadanía” considerada “universal”, potenciando
el reconocimiento por la diferencia y la diversidad, procurando el fortalecimiento del dialogo entre “un nosotros y los otros”.
