Abstract

The project "Characteristics and Externalities of Rural Tourism in Barreal, San Juan, Argentina" (2020-2022) is part of the production of scientific knowledge in the field of Rural Sociology, developed by the Research Group of the Socio-Agricultural Sector (GISSA) at the Institute of Socio-Economic Research of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FACSO), National University of San Juan (UNSJ). This research group has a track record in projects such as "Changes in land tenure as a result of the installation of tax deferrals" (2011-2013), which aimed to observe changes in the productive structure of the Zonda and Ullum departments, following the installation of tax deferrals, and the situation of small and medium-sized producers in their coexistence with large agricultural capitalists.
