Abstract

This review adresses the progress of the internal research project "Reconstruction of the history and track record of the Consejo de Desarrollo Comunitario(CDC) [Community Development Council] of La Bebida-Marquesado(2012 y 2025) and contributions for future lines of action", carried out by the work team belonging to the Programa de Investigación y Extensión en Desarrollo Territorial y Economía

Social (PROINDES)[Research and Extension Program on Territorial Development and Social Economy], based at the Instituto de Investigaciones Socioeconómicas [Institute of Socioeconomic Research] of Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Universidad Nacional de San Juan.

Its central objective is to analyze, through a qualitative and interpretive approach based  on Investigación-Acción Participativa (IAP) [Participatory Action-Research] and the oral history, the socio-organizational evolution of this multi-stake holderarticulation between: the private sector, the State and the civil society. Based on the analysis of institutional documents and semi-structured interviews with key informants, part of the history of the Consejo de Desarrollo Comunitario(from now on CDC) has been reconstructed, and these first results have been validated through participatory workshops with local stakeholders(neighborhood leaders, members of neighborhood associations, libraries and community leaders)

Within the framework of the project, territorial articulation dynamics as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the CDC in the face of state retrenchment are systematized, offering reflective insights to strengthen the associative network and local development in two of the most important and complex districts of the Rivadavia departament: La Bebida and Marquesado.
