Abstract

Restauradoras con Glitter (RcG), as a self-managed collective, from its beginnings understood the importance of protest as an engine of change, specifically, for the lives of women. In this collaboration we reflect on the criminalization of the protest of organized women and civil society that took place on August 16, 2019 in Mexico City. In view of the current experiences of criminalization of our colleagues in Argentina, of the transfeminist Collective Ni Unx Menos San Juan and of Pierina Nochetti in the city of Necochea, from RcG we speak out decisively against the continued desperate actions of any State that has The objective is to blur the voice, the dignified rage of those who fight and seek justice and freedom for all. These reflections are expressed in a 4.19-minute joint video-creation made by the collective.
