Open access policy
Memorias Disidentes is a DIAMOND MODEL OPEN ACCESS journal, meaning it is non-profit and offers all its content open with immediate access free of charge to readers and authors, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.
OPEN ACCESS (OA) is free access to information and unrestricted use of digital resources by everyone. Any type of digital content can be published in open access: from texts and databases to software and audio, video and multimedia supports. A publication can be disseminated in open access if it meets the following conditions:
- Its content is freely and universally accessible, at no cost to the reader, through the Internet or any other means;
- The author or copyright holder grants all potential users, irrevocably and for an unlimited period of time, the right to use, copy or distribute the content, with the sole condition that due credit is given to its author;
- The full version of the content has been deposited, in an appropriate electronic format, in at least one internationally recognized open access repository committed to open access.
