SECTION POLICIES
Trazos-Revista de Estudiantes de Filosofía is a digital publication of the Instituto de Filosofía de
la Facultad de Filosofía, Humanidades y Artes of the Universidad Nacional de San Juan.
Published every six months, with a national and international scope, it is dedicated to publishing
original and unpublished research, evaluated by a double-blind peer review system.
SECTIONS:
Dossier
Discussion space for a proposed topic (check the current call for proposals). The work must be
original and unpublished, and not have been submitted for publication to other journals. The
written work must have a minimum length of 2000 words and cannot exceed 4000 words
(including notes and bibliography). Additionally, it must be presented with a title in Spanish and
English; a summary and abstract of 1 50 words (maximum); 3 key words and keywords(in
English) that synthesize the content of the work and the main axes addressed.
Research Articles
The articles should present the elaboration of the results of an ongoing or completed research.
Works that provide a relevant methodological treatment for the type of problem or study topics
that are addressed, and that respect the rules of the academic field, especially theoretical rigor,
will be considered. They must also be original and unpublished, and not have been submitted
for publication to other journals. The minimum length will be 2000 words and the maximum
length will be 6000 words (including notes and bibliography). Your title must be presented in
Spanish and English. Additionally, a summary and abstract of 1 50 words (maximum) must be
provided, along with 5 keywords that synthesize the content of the work and the main axes
addressed.
Presentations
Works presented at academic events (conferences, seminars, symposia, etc.). They must be
original and not have been submitted for publication to other journals or in proceedings. The
minimum length will be 2000 words and it cannot exceed 4000 words (including notes and
bibliography). Additionally, it must be presented with its title in Spanish and English; a summary
and abstract of 1 50 words (maximum) and 3 keywords (in English) that synthesize the content
of the work and the main axes addressed. The name, location, and date of the event should be
specified.
Bibliographic reviews
They will be brief texts that comment on and critically inform about recently published books
(last 1 0 years). Original and unpublished manuscripts must be submitted, and they must not
have been sent to other journals for publication. They must be presented with a title in Spanish
and English, a summary and abstract of 1 50 words (maximum), and with 3 keywords that
synthesize the content of the work. The extension should not exceed 4 pages. The author, title,
year of publication, and publisher of the chosen book must be specified.
Philosophical Essays
Work that clearly presents a personal interpretation with a descriptive, analytical or critical
perspective on a specific philosophical topic or problem, using secondary sources. They must
be original and unpublished, and not have been sent to other journals for publication. Your title
should be presented in Spanish and English, with a summary and abstract of 1 50 words
(maximum) and 3 keywords and keywords (in English) that summarize the content of the work.
The minimum length will be 1 000 words and it cannot exceed 3000 words (including notes and
bibliography).
