PRESENTATION
TRAZOS emerged as a project in late 201 6 through the Instituto de Filosofía de la Facultad de
Filosofía, Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Nacional de San Juan with the aim of
enabling a space for discussion, communication, and exchange of research work by students in
philosophy and related fields. In March 201 7, the project was discussed and approved by the
Consejo Directivo de la Facultad de Filosofía, Humanidades y Artes de la Universidad Nacional
de San Juan, Resolution No. 1 5/1 7-CD-FFHA.
During the period between 201 7 and 2021 , the journal was dedicated to the exclusive
publication of undergraduate student work. Over the years, our magazine has managed to
break provincial and national barriers, having a very good impact on the student community of
several of the most recognized universities in Latin America, becoming a publication space with
a large influx and demand from the entire academic community of Spanish-speaking countries
in our continent. Due to the high demand from graduates, starting in 2022, the TRAZOS team
decided to extend its reach and begin receiving contributions from graduates, postgraduate
students, and research professors.
Those of us in charge of the magazine's editing consider it necessary to facilitate and guarantee
a place where the work done in the university community is reflected. We are aware of the value
of writing and the close connection it has with philosophical work. Therefore, we seek to
contribute to the development of students' potential by motivating the constant task of building
intellectual identities with active participation in the production of knowledge.
Currently, our publication receives original and unpublished research from advanced students,
graduates, and researchers, evaluated by national and international referees, taking into
account the following sections: dossier, research articles, presentations, bibliographic reviews,
and philosophical essays.
