Abstract

The paper concentrates on the problem of determining a political criterion in Deleuzian philosophy. The problem of defining a political criterion is an issue that has been addressed by different commentators of Deleuze's work. Some of them, like Badiou, consider that it is not possible to isolate a political criterion, consequently there would be no political philosophy in Deleuze. Our proposal aims to argue that the problem of delimiting the bases on which political thought is measured in Deleuze and Guattari is not possible from the criteria of a political philosophy anchored in the model of representation. We consider that in order to access the dimension of the political in Deleuze, another perspective is necessary. From a politics in terms of desire, in the univocal character of desiring production and social production.
