Trazos- Revista de Estudiantes de Filosofía promotes good editorial practices and ethical
policies that aim to guarantee the quality of academic dissemination, following a rigorous
process of control of the received works to avoid bad practices and to anticipate the resolution
of possible conflicts between the parties involved in the editorial process.


Functions and obligations of the Editorial Board and Committee (Editors)
The Editorial Board and the Editorial Committee are responsible for organizing and managing
the available resources to ensure the proper functioning of the journal. Those in charge commit
to:
- To ensure the academic quality of the journal by promoting a transparent, clear, and thorough
editorial process.
- To ensure that the editorial process is carried out according to academic and ethical criteria,
without allowing aspects related to gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic or
geographical origin, academic or professional category, philosophical or political positions, etc.,
of the authors to affect the decisions of the Editorial Team and/or external reviewers.
- To meet the needs of authors, evaluators, and readers in the process of creating and sharing
the contents of the journal.
Ensure that intellectual property, copyright, publication licenses or permissions, and open
access policy are respected.
- To guarantee the anonymity of the reviewers, as well as the authors, during the review
process.


Functions and obligations of the evaluators
- To evaluate the assigned research with professionalism and scientific rigor; to issue an opinion
with objectivity, academic competence, and scientific criteria.
- To handle the articles entrusted to them with absolute discretion and confidentiality, avoiding
their use for personal or third-party purposes.
- Submit their opinion within the time allotted by the journal's guidelines.


Functions and obligations of the authors
- Review and ensure that the submitted work complies with all the policies defined by the
journal.
- Ensure that the same work has not been simultaneously sent to another publication.
- Do not use material previously published by other authors, or by oneself, without fulfilling the
criteria of academic honesty. Do not engage in any type of scientific fraud or plagiarism.
- Respect the delivery times agreed upon with the publishers.
