CRITICAL POLITICS, CONDITIONS FOR EMANCIPATION

Abstract

This work aims to think of an articulation between the critical theories and political philosophies. Starting from considering critical theories as any theory that questions, in a global way, the existing social order (Keucheyan: 2013) and considering politics as an institution of freedom (Arendt, 2003; Abensour, 2005), I seek to make emerge, through the notion of emancipation, a relationship between the criticism of Michel Foucault and a political philosophy. The commitment to a critical political philosophy consists of trying to remember the importance, both at the level of discourse and actions, of the analysis of our present and future projections of political, social, economic, educational organization, because both and in conjunction they mark the strategies in the struggles against a neoliberal and patriarchal system.
