Abstract

“The freedom to be free” (2019 ) is the title of an essay by Hannah Arendt that, until now, had remained unpublished in the Spanish language. This brief work by the author was conceived in the midst of reflections on topics that would lead to a writing of greater scope and theoretical depth, such as "On the Revolution" -On Revolution- originally published in 1963. In this form, and as of the edition of the Taurus label, we have the possibility of accessing one of the writings that, at the beginning of the '60s, Arendt elaborated in a preliminary way to this last book.
