Poeticizing philosophy: the poetry of Viviana Ávila Alfaro as a space of resistance and philosophical Reactivation
Main Article Content
Abstract
Philosophical thought, although it is often limited to the academic sphere, can expand through disciplines such as poetry, particularly that of Viviana Ávila Alfaro. Based on Wittgenstein’s language games and Román Cuartango’s poetizing philosophy, this paper argues that poetry not only addresses philosophical questions, but also keeps thought active, preventing its stagnation. In Ávila Alfaro’s work, philosophy finds a space of resistance against the normativity of everyday language and the opening toward new forms of reality. Her poetic play with language turns poetry into a philosophical platform that transcends traditional boundaries. Thus, poetry not only enriches artistic expression, but also emerges as a medium capable of reactivating philosophy, freeing it from academic rigidity and projecting it toward its most vital and expansive dimension.
