Abstract

The aim is to point out the relevance of recovering two moments of Herbert Marcuse’s references to the feminist movement of the second half of the
last century: the recovery of the feminine against the principle of performance, of productivism, and the author’s remarks regarding the scope of the feminist movement. With this recovery we seek to shore up some considerations regarding its relevance and the power of the foundations of Critical Theory or the Frankfurt School as a tool for analysis and criticism; and with this highlight the contribution of the demands that Herbert Marcuse makes to feminism, since we consider that its updating can contribute elements for the reflction of the current condition of women and contemporary feminisms.
